Charlene is a tireless advocate for cancer patients and has helped many patients and family members through her amazing referral network that includes the numerous charitable organizations she works with, doctors and healthcare providers, websites and blogs, and people she has helped in the past.Charlene is a Jefferson Award Recipient (Nobel prize for public service). She also is a Chicago Woman of the Year first place winner.As NBC 5 Chicago noted: “Charlene’s . . . activities and efforts in organizing charitable organizations, educational events, and fundraisers have had a tremendous impact of the lives of countless patients and families living with cancer in the Chicagoland area and on a national basis.” Charlene helped raise almost 3 million dollars. Charlene is a former corporate executive who served as President and Chief Executive Officer of a consulting firm and Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of a financial services industry company.She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology.Charlene has brought her leadership skills along with her knowledge and passion to the front lines in the battle against cancer.In the 1980s, she launched “Cloud Kids” in response to missing children issues and to teach safety to children.
